E-SCRIP SIGN UP!

Have you been signing up people on our E-scrip program? Remember, the Scout gets 50% of the profits for each person he signs up! (The Houchin boys brought in over $1000 dollars last year. They were able to use over $500 toward their Scouting activities. Not bad, eh?)

If you haven't signed up yet, all you need to do is call 1-800-592-0942 8am-8pm. Our group # is 3341958. Have your and your spouse's Vons cards in front of you and any ATM or credit cards the both of you use to make regular purchases. If you have a Chevron card, sign that up, too. The whole process takes about 4-5 minutes of your time and you will be helping our Scouting program tremendously when you use your card at participating vendors (like Vons, Big 5, Old Navy, Shokai's Pizza, Payless Shoe Source, The Sharper Image, Carl's JR., Carrow's Restaurant, and many, many more.)

Below is the most recent list of our e-scrip merchants for Southern California.  Every time you swipe your registered cards, a percentage of each purchase goes to the Troop 8 account.  50% goes to the Troop and 50% goes straight to your Scout so that he can attend summer camp and outings like Philmont, NM which will be coming up in the next year or two.  Sign up family and friends!  Just have them go to www.escrip.com and have them sign up under Boy Scout Troop 8.  It takes only a couple of minutes and every time they swipe, you can just hear that lovely ching!ching! sound; money that DOESN'T have to come out of your pocket for Troop 8's bigger adventures.
